PTC News Desk: Everyone in attendance laughed at something that Virat Kohli performed prior to India's first ODI cricket match versus Sri Lanka. When he got out of practice, he noticed some fans were waiting for him. Virat made the decision to say hello to them before going to the locker room.

At first, Kohli thought a fan had sent him a gift. However, when he approached, he realized the fan was asking for his autograph.

"Are you signing, then? Even so, it's not really true. "Sign" is the first thing that appears. (Does signing obligate me? That was for me, you stated. Now that you're requesting an autograph)," grinned Virat. Gently signing each autograph, he made his way back to the dressing room.

Virat Kohli's move was captured on camera and shared on social media. Fans of King Kohli responded to it with great enthusiasm.

One fan remarked, "Look at Virat Kohli's aura, such a humble person. I have never seen such a humble cricketer in cricket history. Virat Kohli deserves Bharat Ratna."

One admirer said, "Virat Kohli The Sweetest Guy Ever," while another said, "I have never seen a humble cricketer like King Kohli in world cricket." Another fan remarked, "The GOAT also rules people's hearts."

India vs Sri Lanka 1st ODI match

Virat Kohli will make his debut on August 2 following India's victory in the T20 World Cup 2024. In that final, India reached 176/7 batting first thanks to Kohli's 76 off 59 balls.

India eventually overcame South Africa, and Virat was named Player of the Match. He announced his retirement from Twenty20 cricket after the match. Therefore, his fans' only opportunity to witness him play white-ball cricket is during ODIs.

On August 2, India and Sri Lanka will play their first One-Day International (ODI) match. Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma will take the field together for the three-match series. The Men in Blue, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, defeated the hosts 3-0 in the T20I series before winning the ODI series.
