Ind vs SL: Virat Kohli slams 45th ODI century, breaks Sachin Tendulkar's record
India vs Sri Lanka: Virat Kohli returned to the Indian ODI side on Tuesday with another brilliant century against Sri Lanka in the first of three ODI series. It was King Kohli's 45th ODI hundred and 73rd in international cricket.
With this century, Kohli equalled Sachin Tendulkar's record of 20 ODI tonnes at home, which he set in 2007. Tendulkar reached the milestone in 164 matches, while Kohli did so in 101.
Kohli also broke Sachin Tendulkar's record for most ODI centuries against Sri Lanka. Tendulkar has eight to his name, while Kohli has nine.

Earlier, the star Indian batter ended his ODI century drought during India’s tour of Bangladesh.
Moreover, Kohli is only five ODI centuries away from breaking Tendulkar's ODI record for most hundreds. Kohli has 45 ODI centuries, while Tendulkar has 49 ODI hundreds.
