IND vs NZ, 3rd Test: India faced a historic 0-3 whitewash at home, losing to New Zealand by 25 runs in the third and final Test on Sunday. This is the first time India has lost all of its home Test matches.

New Zealand had already made headlines by winning the first two home Tests, interrupting India's 12-year unbeaten streak. New Zealand had already made headlines by winning the first two home Tests, interrupting India's 12-year unbeaten streak. This is also New Zealand's first Test series victory in India since Harry Cave led the team on tour in 1955-56.

When England toured India in 1933-34, they played their first three-match Test series. The match occurred in the pre-Independence British era. India has lost 2-0 to the foreigners in the series.

With the 3-0 series sweep against India, New Zealand became the fourth team to whitewash India in a series of three or more Tests, behind England (4), Australia (3), and the West Indies.

It is also the first time New Zealand has won three Tests in a series, whether at home or away. In addition, the Kiwis had never before won the first three Tests of a series away from home.

India played well in the first innings, scoring 263 runs after New Zealand was bowled out for 235. In the second innings, India's spin twins Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin took 8 wickets between them as the Blackcaps were bowled out for 174.

However, the Indian team struggled during the chase. The hosts lost 5 wickets for 29 runs, with Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, and Sarfaraz Khan departing for low scores.

Rishabh Pant carried India's hopes, scoring 64 runs off 57 balls before being controversially dismissed. R Ashwin and Washington Sundar tried to form a partnership, but Ajaz Patel and Glenn Phillips had different plans.
