Victory parade to celebrate T20 WC glory | In an electrifying final, India clinched the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 trophy, defeating South Africa with a stellar performance.
A fine exhibition of death bowling by trio of Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya and stupendous knocks by Virat Kohli and Axar Patel helped India end their ICC trophy drought, securing their second ICC T20 World Cup title by beating South Africa by seven runs in a thrilling final at Barbados on Saturday.
The victory parade of the T20 World Cup to take place at Marine Drive and the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday to celebrate the Men in Blue's ICC T20 World Cup glory.
The Rohit-led side will have an open-top bus ride in Mumbai at Marine Drive and the iconic Wankhede Stadium from 5:00 pm onwards to celebrate.

In the final match of the tournament, India won the toss and opted to bat first. Despite an early stumble at 34/3, a counter-attacking partnership between Virat (76) and Axar Patel (47 off 31 balls, with one four and four sixes) added 72 runs, stabilizing India's innings. Another vital 57-run partnership between Virat and Shivam Dube (27 off 16 balls, with three fours and a six) pushed India to a total of 176/7 in their allotted 20 overs.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah also on Wednesday announced that they have decided to hold an open-top bus parade for the victorious Team India in Mumbai tomorrow.
Shah has invited India fans to the victory parade at Marine Drive and the Wankhede Stadium.
