SpiceJet flight delayed as nose wheel malfunctions
New Delhi, July 12: In yet another malfunction incident on SpiceJet aircraft, a Dubai-Madurai flight was delayed on Monday due to a last-minute technical issue.
According to the SpiceJet spokesperson, after the technical issue was reported "alternate aircraft was arranged which brought pax back to India. After the minor technical issue was resolved, first aircraft flew back to India as commercial flight."
"Flight delays can happen with any airline. There has been no incident or a safety scare on this flight," the spokesperson further said.

The latest incident is the ninth incident of technical malfunction in a SpiceJet aircraft in the last 24 days.
According to DGCA officials, the Boeing B737 Max aircraft operated the Mangaluru-Dubai flight on Monday. . However, the nose wheel strut was discovered to be more compressed than usual during a walk-around check conducted after landing.
As a result, the engineer decided to ground the aircraft, according to the officials.
