Soldier killed, another injured in shootout in Bengal’s Howrah
One jawan has been killed and another injured in a shootout in Howrah district in West Bengal on Thursday. The gunfight took place at a central force base in Bagnan in Howrah district.

Central forces have been deployed in the region ahead of Lok Sabha polls for the Howrah constituency which is going for polls on May 6 in the sixth phase of elections. Results will be declared on May 23.
