Although the late Punjabi singer is no more with us but his legacy still lives with us as Sidhu Moosewala’s ‘295’ song was played at the pre-closing ceremony of Commonwealth Games 2022 when India finished fourth on the medal tally.
Meanwhile, in Commonwealth Games 2022 slain singer Sidhu Moosewala was given a special tribute by several players, such as Punjab’s Lovepreet Singh, who won bronze medal in weightlifting at Commonwealth Games, paid ‘tribute’ to Sidhu by celebrating the triumph with Moose Wala's signature 'thaapi'.
