Sidhu Moosewala's murder: Punjab Police gets transit remand of Lawrence Bishnoi; to produce him in Mansa court
Chandigarh, June 14: The Punjab Police on Tuesday got the custody and transit remand of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is said to be the key conspirator in Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala's murder in Punjab's Mansa on May 29. Also Read | Two Haryana-based accomplices of Lawrance Bishnoi, Goldy Brar gang held from Mohali Punjab Advocate General Anmol Rattan Sidhu assured the court that Punjab would take "full responsibility" for gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's custody. Earlier, Lawrence Bishnoi’s lawyer Vishal Chopra said if the gangster was taken to Punjab, his life would be in danger and that he could be killed in a fake encounter. However, Punjab Police counsel argued in the court that if the custody of Lawrence Bishnoi was handed over to the police by the court then the full responsibility of security would be with the Punjab Police.
