Sidhu Moosewala gets YouTube Diamond Play button, reaches over 1 crore subscribers
Chandigarh, September 22: Months after his death, Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala is still making headlines. Now, the late singer has received YouTube Diamond Play Button, becoming the first Punjabi singer to achieve this feat.
Sidhu Moosewala received the 'diamond play button' from Youtube upon surpassing over one crore subscribers on the platform.
Sidhu Moosewala's YouTube account currently has around 17 million subscribers. Notably, Moosewala's YouTube channel has the highest number of subscribers of any Punjabi artist. He was also one of the country's most subscribed independent artists.
Let us tell you that in his 5-year music career, Sidhu Moosewala gave the industry powerful songs. His last song 'SYL' was released after Sidhu's death. However, the song was taken down in India after a complaint was filed against it.

The song is still available on the channel in other countries.
Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in broad daylight by assailants on May 29.
