Shooter Khush Seerat Kaur Sandhu dies by suicide in Punjab's Faridkot
An international-level shooter, Khush Seerat Kaur Sandhu, allegedly died by suicide on Thursday (December 9). She shot herself with a licenced pistol inside her home in Punjab's Faridkot.
Khush Seerat Kaur Sandhu (17) reportedly took the extreme step as she was disappointed with her performance in the recent 64th National Shooting Championship.

A police official from the Faridkot City police station said they received a call on Thursday morning (December 9) that a girl had allegedly shot herself at her home in Gali number 4 in Faridkot's Harinder Nagar.
When they reached there, they found the body of Khush Seerat Kaur Sandhu, international-level shooter. She shot herself with .22 pistol. No suicide note was found from the spot. The body was handed over to the family after the autopsy.

Khush Seerat Kaur Sandhu had started her career as a swimmer, but switched to shooting four years ago. Her father, Jaswinder Singh Sandhu, is a teacher in a government school, while her mother, Navdeep Kaur Sandhu, works in the research centre of Punjab Agricultural University.
