Twitter’s blue bird becomes ‘X’, Musk reveals new logo

Twitter rebrands: In a twist, Twitter’s little blue birdie flies and becomes ‘X’, 52-year-old Tesla founder Elon Musk revealed the new icon and brand of Twitter.

The transition signifies a shift away from Twitter's avian branding, which has been a defining feature of the platform since its inception in 2006.

Earlier, Elon Musk also took to his official Twitter handle and posted an image of X beamed across Twitter's headquarters in San Francisco.

"Our headquarters tonight," he tweeted.

Musk bid farewell to brand and logo.

The decision reflects Musk's vision of transforming Twitter into the all-encompassing "X" app, a project that he has linked back to his earlier venture, X.com, established in 1999. X.com later evolved into the well-known digital payment platform, PayPal.

In a recent announcement made earlier this morning, Elon Musk unveiled an intriguing update involving the website X.com. According to Musk, visiting the URL X.com would now lead to an automatic redirection to the Twitter website, raising curiosity among users and followers alike.

Additionally, Musk shared a captivating glimpse of the new logo for X.com, which was projected onto the prominent Twitter headquarters located in San Francisco. The unveiling of the logo at such a prominent location hints at significant developments on the horizon for X.com, leaving many speculating about the future plans and potential collaborations.

As the news spreads across various platforms, the online community eagerly anticipates further revelations and eagerly awaits Musk's next move, eager to witness the unfolding of X.com's next chapter.
