'Sardar Udham' starring Vicky Kaushal to release on Amazon Prime Video in Oct
Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar's 'Sardar Udham', starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. The film will digitally release in October.
It is a biopic on freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh, who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer to avenge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

'Sardar Udham' showcases the journey of a gallant man who made sure the world never forgets the lives of his beloved brethren, who were brutally killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.
The news was revealed by Vicky Kaushal on his Instagram handle, “My heart is filled with love as we bring to you the story of a revolutionary. This October, watch #SardarUdhamOnPrime,” he wrote.

Prime Video, too, shared the same picture on its Instagram and captioned it, “You know the man , but not his story. Bringing to you the story of India's freedom fighter, this October, watch #SardarUdhamOnPrime.” 'Sardar Udham' also stars 'October' actor Banita Sandhu and Amol Parashar.
