SAD 'exposes' conspiracy to implicate Bikram Singh Majithia in false drugs case
The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Sunday alleged that after trying to frame SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal in a false case, the Punjab Congress had now hatched a conspiracy to register a false drugs case against former minister Bikram Singh Majithia. The SAD alleged that a fabricated complaint was recorded against Bikram Singh Majithia under Section 164 of the CrPc and even a meeting was held at Terminal 4 lounge of the Delhi airport on December 4 to give a final shape to this plan. Daljit Singh Cheema alleged that the Punjab Congress was bent upon framing Bikram Singh Majithia in a false drugs case and get him arrested. “Even Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi as well as Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, who had even threatened to sit on an indefinite fast if the arrest was not made, were part of this conspiracy," he alleged. We are not afraid of arrests. We, however warn the Punjab Chief Minister as well as senior police officers that they will be held accountable for implicating senior SAD leaders in false cases”. -PTC News
