The Embassy of India in Ukraine on Tuesday advised stranded Indian nationals to leave the capital city of Kiev urgently. The officials have advised the Indians to leave the city by trains or other means available. "Advisory to Indians in Kyiv. All Indian nationals including students are advised to leave Kyiv urgently today. Preferably by available trains or through any other means available," read a tweet by the India embassy in Ukraine. The fresh advisory has been issued as an air raid alert was sounded in the capital city of Kiev on Tuesday. Alert has also been sounded in Uman, Cherkasy and Vinnytsia, and residents are advised to go to the nearest shelter. Satellite images showing a long convoy of Russian military vehicles snaking along roadways northwest of Kyiv have also emerged according to CNN. Hundreds of tanks, towed artillery, armoured and logistical vehicles can be seen in the visuals released by a US-based space technology firm.
