For Chennai Super Kings, the opening department didn't go well as Watson and Du Plessis scored 14 and 8 runs, respectively. Ambati Rayudu scored 42 runs but couldn't finish it. Jagadeesan scored 33 runs but was run out by Chris Morris. For Chennai Super Kings, Sam Curran and MS Dhoni, supposedly the finishers, scored 0 and 10 runs, respectively.
