Rajasthan BJP MP claims attack by mining mafia

Bharatpur (Rajasthan) [India], August 8: Amid the illegal mining case, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajasthan Ranjeeta’s BJP MP sit on a protest in Bharatpur and claimed that her car was attacked by mining mafia and there was an attempt to kill her. She further stated that mafia chased her car into the fields and later the mafia ran away after hitting the MP’s car. Amid the incident, the BJP MP sat on a dharna and complained that police is not paying attention to the case. Koli further stated that, "I saw about 150 trucks that were overloaded. I tried to stop them but they fled. They thought I was in the car and thus they pelted stones and broke my car. I could have been killed. This is an attack on me but I will not be scared.” Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) RS Kaviya said: "The MP at night told us that she was on her way from Delhi when she spotted overloaded trucks. She tried to stop them while 2-3 trucks stopped but others escaped.
