Rahul Gandhi "ready to work as party desires": Congress
Congress leader Pawan Bansal after a party meeting said that Rahul Gandhi was "ready to work for the party as all desire."
The meeting between Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and the so-called "rebels" at the Congress interim president's 10 Janpath home was considered as the first move towards reconciliation after months of revolt and resignations.

Rahul Gandhi said, "I am willing to work for the party as all desire," senior Congress leader Pawan Bansal said. Rahul also agreed that "better communication" was much-needed and that the party needs to strengthen itself at the booth-level.
Similarly, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the Congress general secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, discussed rebuilding the party and "taking care of grassroots workers". Reportedly, she called for "better inner-party communication".

Meanwhile, Congress leader Harish Rawat said that "there was no doubt in leadership." "Everyone trusts Sonia Gandhi's and Rahul Gandhi's leadership," he said, adding that Congress stands united.
"In today's meeting, we discussed the strategies to resolve challenges and will continue to do so," he added.
Likewise, Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan said that "We discussed the future of the party. It was a constructive meeting in which senior leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi discussed the current situation of the party and ways to strengthen it."
