Punjab's Iqbal Singh Lalpura inducted in BJP's Parliamentary Board; Gadkari dropped
Chandigarh, August 17 : In a major revamp, BJP dropped senior leaders Nitin Gadkari and Shivraj Singh Chouhan from the highest decision-making body Parliamentary Board. Meanwhile, leaders Sarbananda Sonowal and senior leader BS Yeddyurappa are the new faces inducted in parliamentary board. Lalpura will be the first Sikh to have a seat in the BJP parliamentary board as a person from a minority community. A former BJP chief and Union Defence Minsiter Rajnath Singh also made a re-entry to parliamentary board. Meanwhile, BJP's Parliamentary board is headed by the party's national president JP Nadda. The other members included are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Sudha Yadav, Satyanarayan Jatiya, and BL Santosh. -PTC News
