Punjabi singer Master Saleem challaned for not wearing mask

Soon after Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh announced to take strict measures in an order to contain the spread of coronavirus, the Phagwara police on Thursday issued a challan to Punjabi singer Master Saleem for not wearing a mask. Master Saleem, who is a resident of Jalandhar, was passing through Phagwara with his crew in his Fortuner car. He was signaled to stop by a Sub-Inspector and his team deployed on the flyover. The car stopped while Saleem came out of it and engaged in an argument with the cop. The conversation between the two went viral on social media. Saleem who was wearing a red T-shirt and a scarf on his head dared the Phagwara police to issue a challan. The cop said, “Aiwein buzdili na vikhayo, malik ne tuhanu bahut kuchh ditta. To this, Saleem opened the door of the car. When he was about to get inside the car, the cop asked him to pay the challan. Coronavirus Punjab: As Captain Amarinder Singh announced to take strict measures, Phagwara police issued challan to Master Saleem for mask. Saleem told the cop to keep patience and said, “All your people come to me for selfies. Give me some respect.” Saleem, then finally asked his crew members to pay the challan.
