Punjab: Two advocates charred to death as car catches fire in Hoshiarpur
Punjab, Hoshiarpur Accident: In a shocking incident, a senior advocate and his assistant burnt alive after they met with an accident as their car caught fire after colliding with a tree in Hoshiarpur on Saturday night.
The deceased have been identified as senior advocate Bhagwant Kishore Gupta and his assistant, advocate Siya Khullar.

The bodies of Gupta and Khullar were charred upon discovery.

As per the report, the central locking system of the car was jammed as the Hoshiarpur accident took place, and hence the advocate and his assistant could not escape from the burning car.
Meanwhile, the police reached the spot upon receiving the information and called the fire brigade.
The fire tender extinguished the fire after struggling with it for more than half an hour.
The bodies of the victims were charred after being taken out of the car while the Model Town police is investigating the case.
