Punjab: Sidhu Moosewala's father writes to Amit Shah; seeks probe by central agency
Chandigarh, June 2: Balkaur Singh, father of late Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Moosewala, on Thursday, wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to seek justice into his only son's brutal killing by some armed gunmen at Punjab's Mansa district on Sunday.
As per information, Balkaur Singh has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah seeking a probe by a central agency into his murder. The 28-year-old rapper, who has mass fan following not just in India, but in Canada too, was shot dead in Mansa district on Sunday.

Thousands of people gathered for the last rites of the popular Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala in Moosa village in Mansa district on Wednesday. The body of the Punjabi singer was taken to the cremation ground on his favorite ‘HMT 591’ tractor.
Meanwhile, Punjab on Wednesday also reconstituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is probing the case.

NIA may probe Moosewala's murder case
According to sources, the NIA is likely to conduct an inquiry into the use of foreign weapons in the killing of Sidhu Moosewala.
