Punjab reports more recoveries that new COVID-19 cases in a day
The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,20,860 after 852 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state on Wednesday. According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, Ludhiana reported 114 new cases, Jalandhar reported 120, Patiala 27, SAS Nagar 62, Amritsar 92, Gurdaspur 57, Bathinda 27, Hoshiarpur 46, and Ferozepur 21. Likewise, Pathankot recorded 43 new cases of COVID-19 while Sangrur reported 11, Kapurthala 57, Faridkot 26, Muktsar 18, Fazilka 42, Moga 24, Ropar 6, Fatehgarh Sahib 10, Barnala 12, Tarn Taran 31, SBS Nagar 0 and Mansa 6. The death toll in Punjab has increased to 3,712 with 33 new fatalities reported on Wednesday. Ludhiana reported 6 new deaths while Bathinda recorded 5, Jalandhar 5, Amritsar 3, Fatehgarh Sahib 2, Gurdaspur 2, Muktsar 2, Pathankot 2, Ropar 2, Fazilka 1, Kapurthala 1, SBS Nagar 1, and Sangrur 1. The total number of coronavirus recoveries in Punjab has reached 1,05,585 after 1,230 new recoveries were reported from the state in the last 24 hours. Ludhiana reported 170 new recoveries, Jalandhar 124, Patiala 82, Amritsar 106, Gurdaspur 59, Bathinda 62, Hoshiarpur 35, Ferozepur 221, Pathankot 54, Sangrur 47, Kapurthala 106, Muktsar 14, Fazilka 36, Moga 31, Ropar 37, Fatehgarh Sahib 11, Barnala 3, SBS Nagar 15, and Mansa 17. -PTC News
