Punjab Police on alert as intelligence agencies warns of gang war
Chandigarh, September 9, 2022: Intelligence agencies have alerted the police once again regarding the threat of gangwar in Punjab. According to police sources, intelligence agencies have expressed apprehension about the possibility of resurgence of gangs in Punjab. According to the sources, it may be feared that a gangwar may take place in Punjab as gangsters of Bambiha gang are on the lookout for the major incident. Meanwhile, the counter-intelligence unit of Delhi Police’s special cell on Friday arrested six members of the Davinder Bambiha gang adding they recovered sophisticated weapons, grenades and ammunition from the men’s possession. As per the sources, earlier also Bambiha gang was planning to attack main key leader of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s murder case- Lawrence Bishnoi when he was being produced in the court. Moreover, Sidhu Moosewala’s family is also receiving continuous threats via e-mail from group of gangster. Apart from Sidhu Moosewala’s family, Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav and Harjot Bains are also receving threats via e-mail.
