Punjab Police constable exam 2021: As many as 4.71 lakh candidates are expected to take the written examination for the recruitment of constables in district and armed cadres on September 25 and 26. Gurpreet Kaur Deo, ADGP-cum-Chairperson of the Central Recruitment Board for Constables, said admit cards had been issued to as many as 4,71,007 candidates, who had applied for 4,358 posts of constable in district and armed cadre. Also read | Canada election 2021 results: Justin Trudeau wins 3rd term, fails to get majority To be conducted in two shifts The Punjab Police constable exam will be conducted in two shifts --- 10 am to 12 noon, 3 pm to 5 pm. As many as 187 examination centres have been set up across the state and elaborate security arrangements are in place, says ADGP Gurpreet Kaur Deo. The candidates, who would clear the written test, would be called for physical trial and documents verification. The Punjab Police have appointed an IT consultancy firm to conduct these exams. All candidates have been instructed to reach the exam venue in time. The list of Do's and Don'ts is as following  ADGP Gurpreet Deo said jammers had been installed at all examination centres to prevent Internet or bluetooth connectivity. Heavy police have also been deployed for the frisking of candidates and to keep a vigil during the exam. If any candidate was found indulging in cheating or any other unscrupulous activity, strictest possible action will be initiated.
