Lockdown 3.0: Punjab Government imposes additional restrictions; here’s a list of permitted activities
Punjab Government on Monday imposed additional restrictions over and above the activities permitted by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The additional restrictions imposed by the state are that the District Magistrates can regulate the activities from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm during the curfew.
Meanwhile, the Shops and banks can open only from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Likewise, the movement of persons to and from workplaces for government and private offices and also for the industry would be only on the basis of the Identity Cards issued by their respective employers.
The Movement of 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers for the non-work places would be with passes while the taxis, cabs, auto-rickshaws, cycle-rickshaws are prohibited. Likewise, the Inter-district and intra-district plying of buses has been prohibited.
The Rural Shops, Urban standalone, Neighbourhood, and Shops in Residential areas have been allowed to open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Meanwhile, no Barber, salons, spa shops will open in both the Rural and Urban areas.

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has also sought an immediate enhancement of the viral testing capacity at each of the six premier research institutions located in the state and Chandigarh to 2000 tests a day.
