Punjab: Kisan March, led by Sukhbir Badal, begins from Amritsar
Punjab: Kisan March-led by Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal started from Amritsar on Thursday. Sukhbir Badal visited Golden Temple in Amritsar and offered prayers before beginning the Kisan March. He'll lead a Kisan March from here today. The March, which also begins from Sri Damdama Sahib at Talwandi Sabo & Sri Keshgarh Sahib at Anandpur Sahib, will conclude at Mohali. The Kisan March will go to Punjab Raj Bhawan. "Farmers are protesting against those black laws," Sukhbir Singh Badal said. Earlier, Sukhbir Singh Badal had appealed to all the protesting farmers and cadre not to stop an ambulance or emergency service vehicle during protest march and dharnas. The march from Sri Amritsar Sahib-led by Sukhbir Singh Badal would travel via Jalandhar, Phagwara, Nawanshahr, Ropar, Kurali, and Mullanpur before culminating at Chandigarh. Due to a shortage of time, all three Kisan Marches would proceed directly towards Raj Bhawan instead of assembly at Dussehra ground first as planned earlier. -PTC News
