Punjab Govt committed to procure and lift every single grain of paddy: Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal
Chandigarh, September 30: Punjab Agriculture Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal assured farmer organizations that the Punjab Government is committed to procure and lift every single grain of Paddy. Dhaliwal further disclosed that the Chief Minister will also hold a meeting with the farmer organisations on October 6, 2022. He further said that besides this the directions have also been issued to Mandi board officials to make all necessary arrangements in the grain markets such as lighting, drinking water, cleanliness, toilets etc. for the farmers during the paddy procurement season. 'The Punjab Government is pushing hard to ensure that the sugar mills start their operations from November5’, added Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal.
