Chandigarh, January 24: The BJP will contest 65 seats, Captain Amarinder Singh's Punjab Lok Congress 37 seats and Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) 15 seats in the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections, BJP national president JP Nadda said on Monday.
JP Nadda announced the seat sharing agreement at a press conference here at the BJP headquarters in the presence of Punjab Lok Congress supremo Captain Amarinder Singh and Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt)'s Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa.

Captain Amarinder said for the sake of national security and welfare of the state, all three parties had come together.
