Punjab CRPF Jawan Martyred in Terror Attack in Pulwama
Manjinder Singh (27) , a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper from Dinanagar in Gurdaspur district was martyred today after Jaish-e- Mohammad (JeM) militants targeted the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy with a car bomb in Awantipora in Pulwama on Thursday.

Manjinder Singh was posted as the driver with Battalion of the CRPF.

Following the attack on the CRPF convoy, the Cabinet Committee on Security (CSS) has convened a meet today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the meeting, in which Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Union Minister Sushma Swaraj will be also present. Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Arun Jaitly will also preside in the meeting.
