Punjab CM directs private schools not to hike fee this session
Chandigarh, March 30: In a major relief for parents whose students study in private schools, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday directed private schools not to increase fee this session. Also read | Punjab stares at major power outage with coal shortage in thermal plants In a video message, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said," “We hear and read, multiple times, that education is an important tool that can evolve society into better, therefore our government has decided that no private school will increase their fees for this session. Also, they can't compel parents to buy bookshops or uniform or stores designated by them. It shall be up to parents from where they wish to buy books and stationery items." -PTC News
