Punjab Cabinet nod to 'One MLA, One Pension' scheme
Chandigarh, May 2: The Punjab Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, which et here on Monday announced several major decision.
The Punjab Cabinet gave nod to fill 26,454 posts in various departments; approves scheme regarding 'One MLA, One Pension' and nod to door-to-door ration delivery scheme (also option of flour from October 1).

The Punjab Cabinet, led by Bhagwant Mann, also approved Rs 41.89 crore compensation for Muktsar farmers for their damaged cotton crop. An amount of Rs 38.08 crore would be given to farmers while Rs 3.81 crore compensation had been sanctioned for farm labourers.
The time limit for the submission of fee for small transporters has been extended to three months. Fee can be paid in installments.
