Weather update: Dense fog continues to engulf in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh
Weather update: Dense fog covered Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Rajasthan for several hours on Sunday morning. The IMD anticipated that similar weather would continue till November 18.
Dense fog conditions are extremely likely to prevail in the night or early morning hours over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim between November 17-19.
IMD anticipated that similar weather would prevail over Assam and Meghalaya during 17-19 November, and over Bihar during 19 November.
The IMD warned of severe fog conditions across Himachal Pradesh from November 19 to November 21, and over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, and West Rajasthan on November 18.
Meanwhile, the IMD predicts that minimum temperatures across northwest and central India will decline by 2-3°C over the next 4-5 days.
IMD also warned of a steady drop in minimum temperatures of 2-3°C over the following two days, with no significant change thereafter over East India. Minimum temperatures in West India will gradually fall by 2-3°C during the next 5 days.
