Two-year-old narrowly escapes after being run over by car in Mohali
PTC Web Desk: A heart-stopping incident was reported in Mohali’s Nayagaon area when a two-year-old boy, Ayan, ran in front of a moving car and was run over by both the front and rear tires. However, the child escaped without any injuries.
The incident occurred on January 21 and was captured in a 15-second CCTV clip. Ayan was playing outside his house while his family members were nearby. A woman driving a car down the street did not notice the toddler due to his small height, and the car accidentally ran over him.
Eyewitnesses, including two women passing by, rushed to the child’s aid. To everyone’s surprise, Ayan stood up on his own after the car passed and appeared unharmed. He was immediately taken to Chandigarh’s Sector-16 hospital by the woman driver, who stopped her car and assisted the family.
Doctors conducted a thorough checkup and confirmed that Ayan was completely fine and sustained no injuries.
The family clarified that the incident was accidental and not intentional. They stated that Ayan ran in front of the car suddenly, leaving the driver with no time to react. The driver, who stopped to provide assistance, was cooperative and concerned for the child’s well-being. The video of the incident has since gone viral.
