As a result, 56 trains have been cancelled, 16 trains will not pass through Jalandhar, and 48 trains are expected to be delayed by 20 minutes to three hours.
The Ferozepur division has also confirmed that several trains to and from Amritsar and Delhi will be short-terminated, meaning they will not complete their usual routes and will stop at intermediate stations.
