Sidhu Moosewala's close friend Harsimran Singh Sandhu provided security by Punjab Govt

PTC Web Desk: The Punjab Government has allocated six security personnel to Harsimran Singh Sandhu, a close associate of the late Punjabi singer Shubdeep Singh Sidhu, alias Sidhu Moosewala. This decision comes in response to concerns about Sandhu's safety, which the government acknowledged.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court was informed of this development, and it has directed that Harsimran Singh Sandhu be given advance notice if there are any future reductions in his security detail.

Sandhu, who has previously served as the Assistant Advocate General of Punjab, had filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court following the killing of Sidhu Moosewala in 2022, requesting enhanced security due to threats from gangsters Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi. The High Court had then ordered the provision of adequate protection for Sandhu.

Despite these measures, Sandhu continues to face threats from both gangsters. He reported these threats by filing an FIR in Mohali last November. In response to these ongoing threats, the Punjab Government has now deployed six security personnel to ensure Sandhu's safety and has communicated this arrangement to the High Court.

Harsimran Singh Sandhu was among Sidhu Moosewala's closest friends.
