SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal resigns from post, working committee calls meeting on November 18
PTC News Desk: Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal has resigned from party presidency. He has submitted his resignation to the working committee today to facilitate election of new party president. In his resignation, he expressed gratitude and thanked all the party workers and fellow leaders for their trust, support and and cooperation during his tenure.
Senior Akali leader Dr. Daljit took his social media 'X' and said, "The SAD President S Sukhbir Singh Badal submitted his resignation to the working Committee of the party today to pave the way for the election of new President. He thanked all the party leaders & workers for expressing confidence in his leadership and extending wholehearted support & cooperation throughout the tenure."
Shiromani Akali Dal's working committee has called for a meeting hold discussions on Sukhbir Singh Badal's resignation. The meeting is scheduled to take place on November 18.
