Renowned kathavachak Giani Nirmal Singh Bhor passes away; Kapurthala village goes into 6-day mourning
PTC News Desk: Veteran Punjabi kathavachak and preacher Nirmal Singh Bhor has passed away. He breathed his last in California's Yuba City, US.
Nirmal Singh Bhor's death was confirmed by his son Jaswinder Singh Bhor. The famous kathavachak passed away after his condition worsened and he was rushed to the hospital.
Sahaj Paath will be observed in his memory from October 20 to 26 in the village of Bhor, Kapurthala.
According to media sources, he travelled to the US for Akhand Paath about two months ago at the invitation of Nanak Naam Lewa Sangat.
On the night of October 15, his condition deteriorated, and he was admitted to a hospital in Yuba City, but despite the best efforts of the doctors, he could not be saved.
