Punjab: Two youths drown in river during Hola Mohalla celebrations
Kapurthala: Two Punjabi youths, who were gone for Hola Mohalla celebrations at Anandpur Sahib, died due to drowning in the river on Wednesday.
The deceased have been identified as Simran Singh, son of Alam Singh and Bir Singh Simran, son of Harjinder Singh.
According to reports, the deceased went to wash his hands in the river when Simran Singh slipped. Bir Singh then tried to save his friend, but both drowned.
