Public holidays in Punjab on January 5 and 6; winter vacations in schools to end on Dec 31
PTC Web Desk: Punjab schools are currently observing winter vacations, which will conclude on December 31. Immediately after, there will be public holidays on January 5 and 6. January 5 falls on a Sunday, while January 6 marks the birth anniversary of the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
The Punjab Government has declared a public holiday on this occasion. As a result, all schools, colleges, government offices, and other public institutions will remain closed on January 6. This will be the first official holiday of the year.
