Punjab Police recruitment 2025: Applications for 1700+ Constable posts to begin from Feb 25

PTC News Desk: The Punjab police has announced recruitment for 1746 Constable positions in the District Police Cadre and Armed Police Cadre. The application process will be started from February 25, 2021 and deadline for the same is March 13, 2025. The candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria before applying.

This recruitment aims to hire for 1746 posts — 1261 posts for constables in the District Police Cadre and 485 posts for Constables in the Armed Police Cadre.

Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025

Candidates must have complete 10 2 from a recognised board or University. Additionally candidates must have complete matriculation with Punjabi as a subject or an equivalent qualification approved by Punjab government.

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 18 to 28 years as of the specified date. 

Physical Standards

Candidates are required to meet the following height criteria

Male candidates: 5 feet 7 inches (170.2 cm)

Female candidates: 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cm)
