Punjab Police, BSF recover bottle filled with narcotics from Amritsar
PTC News Desk: A joint team of Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police, on Tuesday morning foiled another nefarious attempt of smugglers and recovered one small bottle filled with suspected contraband item Heroin (Gross wt - 450 gms) wrapped with black colour adhesive tape.
The suspected narcotic was recovered from the farming field near Roranwala district in Punjab’s Amritsar.

Notably, on Monday evening at around 9 pm, Border Security Force troops deployed at border heard buzzing sound of a suspected flying object entering from Pakistan to Indian Territory near Roranwala district in Punjab’s Amritsar.
As per the laid down drill, troops endeavored to intercept the drone.
On Tuesday morning, in a joint search operation by Punjab Police and BSF, one small bottle filled with suspected contraband item Heroin recovered.
BSF Punjab Frontier also took to their official Twitter handle and wrote, “Recovery of Heroin, On specific intelligence input, @BSF_Punjab troops recovered one small bottle filled with suspected heroin (Appx 450gms) dropped by Pakistani drone near Village Roranwala, District Amritsar, Punjab #BSFAgainstDrugs #IndiaAgainstDrugs”

Vigilant troops of BSF and Punjab Police once again recovered the nefarious design of smugglers.
