The post read,  "After 1984, what the governments have done to the Sikhs and their families, and what they will do in the future, let the answer be like this. If this uniform remains incompetent in liberating the homes of the Sikhs, they themselves will not be able to live in those huge built walls of the police stations,"

Several teams of Indian army have been deployed to investigate the matter.  This is sixth such incident at a police establishment in the state in recent past.

Earlier on December 4, an explosion at Majitha police station in Amritsar was also reported. Following the trail, an IED was found outside Ajnala Police Station and a blast took place inside Gurbax Nagar police post in Amritsar police commissionerate.
