Punjab murder: Congress MLA Sukhwinder Kotli's nephew beaten to death in Jalandhar
PTC News Desk: In a shocking turn of events Congress MLA from Adampur Sukhwinder Kotli's nehew was beaten to death in Punjab's Jalandhar district.
Soon after the incident, Adampur police reached the spot and launched investigation into the matter.
The deceased has been identified as Sunny, resident of Adampur. According to the reports, Sunny was present in Beas and got into an altercation with 7-8 men.
As soon as the argument turned intense, Sunny along with his two friends were attacked badly and wer eventually beaten to death. The other two boys along with Sunny were critically injured and are undergoing treatment.
According to the SSP Jalandhar Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh, all the accused and the victims were present at the same alcohol shop when the unfortunate incident too place. Under the influence, both the sides got involved into an altercation leading to immense fight resulting in death of Sunny.
Congress MLA Sukhwinder Singh Kotli while reacting to the incident has taken a strong dig at the state government scrutinising the law and order situation in the state. He said that the amount of hooliganism that has been spanning across the state is highly condemnable.
