Punjab: Massive fire engulfs spinning mill in Ludhiana
Ludhiana, February 3: A massive fire broke out at spinning mill in Punjab’s Ludhiana near Jandiali at Chandigarh Road on Friday morning.
In high rise massive flames, about 60 per cent of spinning mill has been gutted in the incident. Goods worth lakhs of rupees were also burnt to ashes.

As per the sources, the flames were so high that they could be seen from several kilometers away.
Over 100 fire tenders and brigade vehicles have also been deployed in order to extinguish the terrible fire in the factory.

As per the information collected, the fire took place due to short circuit at around 4:30 am and since then the tire tenders are controlling the high flames of fire.
However, no casualties were reported, the fire authorities said.
The fire triggered panic and scare in Ludhiana.
