Now, intelligence has issued another warning about such terrorist activities in Punjab, advising police stations and other government buildings to beef up security. Now, the Punjab Police have been placed on high alert once again.

CP Ludhiana has issued an alert to all higher officials and police officers to ensure the security of all police stations. Sources say that increased vigilance has been ordered in police stations located outside of the city or on highways because such police stations or buildings are easy to attack and flee.

Tight security can be witnessed outside the Ludhiana Police Commissioner's office. Visitors are being checked by screening machines, and a thorough inspection is taking place.
