Punjab ignored again in Union Budget 2025, says CM Bhagwant Mann
PTC Web Desk: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has strongly criticised the Union Budget 2025, stating that the Centre has once again neglected the state. He pointed out that the Budget offers nothing for Punjab’s farmers and youth, with no announcement regarding Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops or any industrial package for the state.
“The Union Budget 2025 does not provide anything that could improve Punjab’s economy or secure its future. It is merely an election-oriented budget, with special focus on Bihar while completely sidelining Punjab,” said CM Mann. He accused the Central Government of discriminatory treatment towards Punjab and its people but asserted that the state would stand strong on its own.
