Punjab: Cops attacked by 'Nihang Singhs' in Ludhiana's Jagraon during raids
PTC News Desk: A team of cops was attacked in Kamalpur village of Jagraon in Ludhiana while they were conducting raids. SHO Harshvir Singh of Sadar police station along with 4 other police officials sustained critical injuries after which they were rushed to civil hospital.
The police were conducting raids in a robbery case that took place in village Sangowal. During the investigation police traced the miscreants and reached Kamalpur village of Jagraon while following the leads.
A group of people allegedly donned in Nihang Singh attire launched attack on police officials with sharp objects.
Currently they are undergoing treatment.
