Punjab CM Mann ready to sell out Punjab’s river waters: Sukhbir Singh Badal
PTC News Desk: Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal attacked Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann regarding the SYL issue once again. Sukhbir Singh Badal accused Bhagwant Mann of being willing to compromise Punjab’s river waters.
Taking to X handle, Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal said, “Punjab chief minister @BhagwantMann has proven yet again that he is ready to sell out Punjab’s River waters to please his ‘master’ @ArvindKejriwal.”
“He has earned the dubious distinction of becoming the sole chief minister of the State to take an anti-Punjab stance on the Sutlej Yamuna Link (#SYL) canal by dubbing the issue as “sub judice” on Haryana soil today. This smacks of cowardice & is tantamount to dealing a death blow to Punjab’s farmers and its agricultural economy simply for vote bank politics in the forthcoming assembly polls in Haryana,” Sukhbir Singh Badal added.

“Let me make it clear to Bhagwant Mann that the Shiromani Akali Dal will not allow the Aam Aadmi Party’s nefarious conspiracy to give away Punjab’s river waters to Haryana to succeed at any cost. We will shed our blood but will not let a single drop of our water go to any neighbouring state,” he further added.
