'No personal grudge against Purohit; will work together new Guv Kataria': Punjab CM Mann
PTC News Desk: CM Bhagwant Mann issued his first statement on Sunday following Gulab Chand Kataria's appointment as the new Punjab governor.
Mann said he spoke with Kataria today and greeted him as well. He stated that he told Kataria that Punjabis are known for their hospitality and open-heartedness and that his government is eager to welcome him.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has also stated that he will work together with him.
Mann further stated that Gulab Chand Kataria would take oath as Punjab governor on July 31.
He also stated that he had no personal grudge against Banwarilal Purohit, but that it was just a conflict of interest between the two. He stated that he was disappointed during his recent Jalandhar visit when he found that his DGP and chief secretary were unable to accompany him because the Governor had taken them with him on his border village tour.
