Punjab: BSF foils infiltration attempt along India-Pak border
Amritsar, November 26: As winter approaches and fog begins to engulf the India-Pakistan border, the environmental conditions are becoming ideal for Pakistani smugglers to attempt infiltration and push in drugs, arms, and ammunition.
Foiling such bids at three different BOPs in Punjab's Pathankot and Amritsar sectors on Friday night, the Border Security Force (BSF) has stepped up vigil all along the international border.

Meanwhile, in Amritsar, the BSF party of BOP Daoke heard the sound of a suspected flying object coming from the Pakistan side to the Indian side. The incident took place at around 9 pm on Friday. BSF then opened fire at the drone, making it return to the Pakistani side.
